Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and JUPELLI CONSULTING PRIVATE LIMITED, Flat No. 301, Raghavendra Colony, Kondapur, Serilingampally, K.V.Rangareddy-500084, Telangana, India (“ask tota”, “we”, “us”), governing your use of the ask tota mobile application and related services (the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service. Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms and explains how we handle your personal data — including that your birth-derived data and chat messages are processed by a third-party AI provider outside India.

2. Entertainment only — please read

ask tota is an entertainment product. It is not advice. Astrology is not a science. The readings, charts, predictions, compatibility scores, and other content the Service produces are for entertainment and self-reflection only. They are generated by an AI language model and are not statements of fact, not predictions of what will happen, and not professional advice of any kind.

In particular, nothing in the Service is, or should be relied upon as:

Do not make any important decision on the basis of a reading from this app. Compatibility readings in particular are a game — they say nothing real about any actual person or relationship, and must not be used to decide whether to enter, continue, or end a relationship or marriage.

Readings are AI-generated and may be inaccurate, inconsistent, or nonsensical. We do not guarantee their accuracy, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we accept no liability for any decision you make on the basis of them.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it you represent that you are. The Service is intended for users in India.

The compatibility feature lets you enter another person’s birth details. Only do this if you have that person’s permission. You are responsible for having the right to provide us with personal data about another person, and you must not use the Service to profile, harass, or make decisions about someone without their knowledge.

You agree not to: use the Service unlawfully or to harass, defraud, or harm anyone; present readings as factual predictions or professional advice to any third party; resell or commercially exploit the Service without our permission; access another user’s account, charts, or chats; scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to derive our prompts, models, or source code; circumvent usage limits, tiers, or paywalls, or use unofficial clients, emulators, or automated scripts; overload or probe the security of our infrastructure; or submit content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, hateful, or infringing. We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate access for any breach.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available, and may change, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time. If we discontinue a paid feature you have paid for, we will provide a pro-rata refund or credit where the law requires it.

10. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We make no warranty whatsoever as to the accuracy, reliability, or predictive value of any reading, chart, score, or other astrological content (see §2).

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, opportunity, or relationships; we are not liable for any decision you make on the basis of a reading (§2); and our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) ₹500. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

12. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims, losses, and costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your submission of another person’s personal data without their permission (§5).

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account, which erases your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections 2, 8, 10, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any consumer-protection rights you have to bring proceedings elsewhere, and to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, which are not affected by these Terms.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
